The GeoBulb is the same size as a conventional incandescent bulb suitable for direct replacement in any indoor open fixture. It puts out more light than a standard 60-watt bulb but uses less than 8 watts. The light output of the GeoBulb was designed to point in primarily one direction based on actual use. It's one of the few bulbs that we have reviewed where the manufacturer has published independent lumen test data. This is a well-made product that has received generally favorable ratings from customers. It's a solid substitute for a standard A-line light bulb.

Standard LED Lighting 48 Inch T8 Tube Light Replacement

Overall Rating:

Seller: Amazon
Standard LED Lighting sells this 48 inch T8 tube light as a replacement for a standard fluorescent bulb of the same length. This tube light, which they call the Redwood, is available in multiple variations from Standard LED Lighting, but the one available at the Amazon Store link here is evidently the 15-watt 4100K version of the light. While this is a T8 bulb, these bulbs have a standard bipin base that can also be mounted in 48” T10 and T12 fixtures. These look like fairly generic Chinese-made LED tube lights with the 15-watt, 276-LED version appearing to have the same specifications as a tube light being sold by Britta Products. As with most of these tube light replacements, installation in a fluorescent fixture will require removal/bypass of the ballast (and starter if there is one).
